"After doing a study on the week's word, I decided that I couldn't just pick one verse. I enjoyed the study so much I picked out my favorites and made a little mini album. My own little concordance to turn to when needed. It has all my favorite verses on the word and it amazes me that each study shows how GOD exhibits the theme and how He shows us how to live a life that follows His example. And the good news: it all leads to eternal life with Him. 2 Peter 1:3-11

We are to wait patiently and live by faith -- trusting in the sovereign Lord. We have a faith resting on the promise of eternal life.
Deuteronomy 7:9 “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commands.”
Romans 4:20-21 “Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.”
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11 is called the ‘faith chapter’ and teaches us many instances of God’s people having faith and how they are commended for it.
“(Trials) have come so that your faith -- of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire -- may be proved genuine and may result in praise, Glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:7-9
I Cor. 16:13 “be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.”
2 Cor. 13:5 “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.”

Do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it…your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom and these things will be given to you as well.”; protect us - Eph. 6:16, 2 Chronicles 20:20; answer our prayers - Mt. 17:20 (mustard seed), Mt. 21:21 “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea’, and it will be done.
