One thing that we used to do as a family when we went to the beach was fly kites! We used to live in an area that was heavily wooded and mountainous (wish I was still there!), and didn't have a lot of room to fly kites unhindered. So at the beach we had a breeze and could run for a long time!
My card is a little on the vintage beach side (long striped swimsuits, anyone?), as I used papers from Crafty Secrets' Romance collection. Stamps are from Unity's April KOTM. The middle kite is stamped twice, cut out and popped up.
I also made this for the Featured Stamper Challenge 118, in which my friend, Debbie, was chosen!! Here is her card I cased. I kept her theme of three images, and the flower, changed papers and colors, and substituted a sentiment for her raffia. CONGRATS, Debbie!!

My sister lives close to the beach on the Pacific Ocean, and when I visited her several years back, we flew kites on the beach. It was so much fun! Thanks for the memory with your pretty vintage scene card, Judy!
