Good Morning!! I made this card at 4 a.m. when I just couldn't sleep. A dear family friend is dying of cancer and I just couldn't stop thinking about his fiance, five siblings and widowed mother. He was told he has 24 hours to live after he just recently was told he was in remission. Since my heart is with them right now, I decided to start making sympathy cards for the family, hoping that this verse from ODBD- Scripture Collection 1 gives them as much comfort as it does me.
I used today's sketch SC228 and FBW 7 to use a butterfly and fairy with a sentiment or quote. I decided to make it in very vanilla and white. I first stamped the lily from I am the Way (Our Daily Bread Designs) in grey on vanilla CS. The verse is stamped on vellum in black and adhered to the CS. The floral scrolls are made punched out from the Spellbinders Floral accents die and then painted with gold glimmer Shimmerz (purchased from ODBD). The yummy ribbon is a 1 1/2 inch satin ribbon from May Arts. The butterfly is a charm from Blue Moon.

What a beauty! I thought this was a wonderful sketch for using a sentiment or scripture. I personally love seeing God's word displayed so elegantly.
