Who doesn't love Paris, so romantic....I was thrilled to see these cushions as I had my Paris stamps out this week to work on....good timing...they were among the first ones I ever got, when this passion of mine got started...
I am right into embossing right now - does that happen to you...get into runs of things? I have been loving using my POWER TOOL (heat gun) and have mastered the art of non burnt fingers - yay! I embossed SU French Script as my background and then used a roller stamp for one on the panels - my first go with one of these...loving this!!! The bottom panel is from an retired SU set called Travel Post....my DH got me this for my birthday - I love it when we find these older ones.....this one was local - from my SU Demo actually - BEAUTIFUL!!!
I added the oval image, embossed, chalked and sponged, this is on 3D foam dots. Paper pierced corners and torn corners have been added for texture and depth...plus those gorgeous Dew Drops that came in a RAK from Peggy (aka Marilyn Prestonn) it is the first time I have used them....thank you girlfriend, the colours are perfect for me!
The final touches were added with chiffon ribbon and light gold glitter pen highlighting the folds on the dress - as you know it is almost impossible to capture bling in photos!
Thank you for looking - your comments are valued!! It is Mother's Day here and I am having some 'me time!' Happy Mothers's Day to you all - here's to all the Mum's...where would we be without them - I couldn't cope without my MUM!!! God bless you all!
