This is a birthday card I made for my sister Lois on her 65th birthday this year. I used the Carousel Notes II and Regular Carousel Notes in contrasting colors. In order for it to open I scored it across the top in about an inch. To keep it closed I glued the top, then put eyelets, then treaded thin ribbon and tied ends. On the end of one of the ribbons on the left I put some beads spelling Lois's name.
The letter "B" and the "cut out bee" are both highlighted with embossing powder glassy glaze enamel then heat set. It gives a very nice shinny finish. The other tag on the front is from the bigshot sizlitts lots of tags set. I also used versamark with a leaf stamp to make the patterned background on the front of the card and the envelope. I used Pacific Point ink to thump the edges of the card and tags
The large "B" on the front, the two tags and the flower are all put on using dimentionals. I used a versamarker to make the butterfly and flower dots trail.

OMG,65 years old!!! I didn't know she was that old -- LOL! Very nice card Kathy, you have a lot of detail work included with this card. I also need to congratulate you on getting it done on time -- you are getting much better!
