...really lovin' these color basics, Julia! And I don't bring out kraft nearly enough! Come have a look...
I think I've mentioned this angel girl was among one of the first stamps I brought home. I love the possibilities contained within her and today, I needed to create a card of encouragement for someone very dear to me.
I paper pieced Tim Holt'z image, stamping the dress and leggings in Nick Bantock's Rose Madder on GP white cs. The wings, hands and face/crown were inked with Memento Tuxedo Black on SU's retired river rock. I added another layer of wings, pink vellum using Brilliance moonlight white. The wonderful clock face is from Invoke Arts. I inked the numerals with ChalkBox charcoal and the casing with Brilliance Galaxy Gold. It was embossed with clear ep and the glass face created with UTEE. Tim Holtz idea-ology game spinner hands. Notice the little moon on the tip of the big hand. The NOW are rub-ons, from Making Memories as are the "is the" part of their magnetic letter set. The #2 was inked with ColorBox lava black. I matted the kraft panel on GP white cs and the kickstand fold base is Basic Grey Bittersweet crushed berry paper. The twine at the top seemed to suit the kraft paper.
So, please tell me what you think...and there's more to the story at my cyber home

What a wonderful card of encouragement for your friend, Susan! I love the pink angel and with the vellum wings and lace trim! The clock looks so real! The sentiment and how you presented it are just terrific! I can totally relate to your friend's situation. I am sure this will lift her spirits and help her think of this as a time of personal exploration and growth. TFS!
