Today's WT challenge was to use Kraft cardstock. I'd used my last two pieces on Monday, so for today I used brown wrapping paper stuck to plain card. (I love Kraft, but is just the stuff I get that picks up fingerprints and grease marks so easily? That's what puts me off using it, and usually ensures that some spoiled pieces are in my scrap drawer).
I decided to try out Julia's suggestion of stamping in white, as it wasn't something I'd tried before on Kraft, and usually avoid it on anything. For the stamped panel, I stamped the outline of Botanical Blooms in Versamark and embossed with white EP. Then I used the solid fill stamp with Brilliance White. Then the leaves, again with Versamark, and a green chalk pastel dusted over them for colour. I cut it out and embossed it with Labels 1, and then went round the edge and embossed line with a white pen. I layered it onto some more DIY Kraft card, and added a sentiment from Thoughts and Prayers, with ColorBox Pigment Moss Green. I sponged the edges of the panel with the Moss Green, added some organza ribbon and layered it onto a white A2 base.
