I kinda rushed with my first card. Thanks for all the good wishes for a good field trip. We had a blast on a farm...watching sheep get sheared...shelling corn... well back to this card.
This image is a MariLynn original, well sorta. I printed a photo of a butterfly and coneflowers. I used tracing paper to make the outlines. I then used a pen to darken the butterfly. I then scanned it into my computer and created my digital image. I shrank it and printed it. I colored the butterfly and coneflowers with colored pencils. I chalked the sky and grass. I used the same dp that I used for my little teapot this am. I used my circle punch to punch out circles from the dp to put on the corners. I added 3 little rhinestones and a polkadot ribbon.
Cindy asked what people were bringing... I am bringing nachos, and homemade salsa to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

Is the salsa hot? Can I handle it? Do we have plenty of water handy to drink? Isn't it bread that takes the hot ouy of your mouth if you are dying? Will my tongue ever be able to taste again???? Snort!
Okay, that's it! Now you are basically making your own stamps! How cool is that? Another wonderful card and I love that the polka dots punched out make such fun corner treatments! Its a great card.
Glad you had fun at the farm, guess you don't have to do a report since it was not stamp related. Although knowing you, you picked something up in the barn yard to use on a future card! Giggle!

Someone call Inkadinkadoo cause we got an excellent pre-stamp drawing here! This would sell like hot cakes! Bring your original to Vegas and we'll trade it in for some more chips!!!

OMGosh, MariLynn! Not you, too, with the hand drawing! Fantastic job! I love the scene you created and how you colored it! The DP is perfect! TFS your amazing creativity! And thanks for bringing the nachos! I was starving after running around all day and then I couldn't cook until our tornado warning was over!

How many hours are there in your day? Three cards for this challenge and a field trip, and desiging your own digi stamps - Whatever you're having to eat or drink, I want some - need energy!!! The card is lovely and colored so nicely. The dots almost remind me of bubbles.
