These aren't colors I would typically reach for, but they are pulled from this designer paper I found on clearance at Michael's. The collection is called Provence by GCD Studios. This could be a Father's Day card, birthday card, or anything masculine. The square dp is one small square cut from a sheet containing different medallion-like designs. Just cut and mat.
For the rectangular panel, I used Verve's Wishful Elegance small medallions and the larger Plain Jane Medallion, stamped in Night of Navy, Garden Green and Riding Hood Red onto YoYo Yellow card stock. The longer rectangle is another design from the paper pad. I thought the EK Success dotted wave edge punch echoed the shape in the dp. Stamped the sentiment from SU! Dad's Day (retired) in navy onto Riding Hood Red. I was tempted to emboss the red and green panels, but thought it might be too much with the other busy patterns. So I settled for some paper piercing around the perimeter. Added navy and yellow ribbon and that was it. Thanks for looking!
