Bleahh - I seem to be going from bad to worse with my teapot cards.
Anyway, it's Teapot Tuesday time again over at Cindy's and you are all invited.
The white dots on the cute teapot that Dawn sent Cindy reminded me of the effect you get by punching out circles, so I found a teapot template, printed it on pink card and punched out little circles with my Fiskars eyelet setter before layering it on white card. I also made a second lid and popped it up for a bit of dimension, after I'd cut the main panel out with a scalloped oval. I went round the edges and added dots in each scallop with a white Sakura Glaze pen. Embossed the bottom half of the card, added a pink polka-dot ribbon border because I don't have any pink to wear to the party, let alone pink polka dots (I'll wear my black and white dots, though, or my blue) and stamped Party Time from Lots of Thoughts...
Like last week I fear this is another one for the bin, although DH said, when I finally found last week's, that if I change the flag from MMTPT to something else he may use it.

This is terrific. The actual teapot does have the dots punched out. I love that you did that here too. Super job.. So perfect for this challenge. That teapot template is great. I have looked for one and haven't seen one I like. See you at the party...

I thought you were gonna sit this one out....in the corner, I think you said! Hee! So glad you played! You are harder on yourself than you should be cuz its a precious little card and very creative in the way that you achieved the polka dots...just like Dawn's teapot! That's the way it was done! I love the scallops and the polka dots. By the way, you look pretty today in your black and white dots....or are those dark blue? Snort!
Got a kick out of your dh saying change the flag and I will use it! That's a pretty simple thing to do to save a card from going in the bin! Hee! Thanks for coming, for the link and for the precious little card. Its not *bin* worthy, its better than that!! You listening to me?????
