My 11 year old DD Maddy, quickly made this card for her teacher who had her birthday today...she amazed me as she assembled a SU Stamp Set that she was given on her birthday, without needing my help and proceeded to stamp this card. The HB image is from a RAK sent to me by Krafty Kylie and Maddy coloured it with Gllitter Pens...she stamped the teachers name with different coloured inks - it was hard to capture the yellow on camera. The layered flowers are attached with a jewelled brad from Peggy (aka Marilyn Preston)
Maddy came home this afternoon and was so glad that she made this card as it was the only one the teacher got (awww) and she was so touched that maddy had made it herself - made me proud of her AND her card!!
Thank you for looking and for your comments. I know Maddy would appreciate your encouragement!

Maddy: How wonderful that you surprised your teacher with this beautiful card. I bet she LOVED it and it was very special as you were the only one who remembered it and you made it all by yourself. I guarantee you that your teacher will be holding onto your card as a treasure throughout her lifetime. Keep on posting Maddy! TFS!

Maddy - what a thoughtful thing to do for your teacher. And I bet your Mom is pretty proud of your cardmaking abilities too! I love using punches so I think your flower in the corner is wonderful! You're definitely off to a great start - keep it up and before you know it you'll need to start your own gallery! I love it that your teacher's last name start with the word 'laugh' - because laughter is such a wonderful thing!

Maddy, you know if I was a teacher, I would think it was just the coolest to get a handmade card from one of my students. Especially one so personalized. This is really nice, you did a great job, and I especially like those glittery letters! Cool card. Can't wait to see your next one. TFS
