Today's WT challenge, following on last week's white card, was to use black.
First train of thought - little black dress - no suitable stamps.
Second train of thought - use up those black Primas that have been on my desk for 18 months. Hmmm - it's obvious I find them uninspiring.
Third train of thought - Black Magic!! So, once I found my Sansodor, that was the workable option.
My base is black card (I use a lot for bases, and am looking forward to refresher training in work at the end of the month, which will be an opportunity to keep all the black card backs from the business pads ). The dusty rose layer is DCWV Old World. I stamped the Penny Black image with Brilliance White onto black card, and when dry coloured it with Couleur d'Art pencils and Sansodor. I trimmed the panel down, and scored round the edges. Then I trimmed out a tiny bit around the inside of the scored frame, just to lighten the feel a bit, and also trimmed out the outside. Some Kaiser pearls and gems and it's a simple card.

I really love this gorgeous card! I like the slimness of the image and the frame around it. The dusty rose for the cb folder is just perfect. Love this card!
