It has been so long since I have participated in a Try a New Technique Challenge.
I acquired this digital set from Angel's Landing and thought this would be the perfect project for these flowers. I made this card in hopes that it will bring Spring here in my neck of the woods.
You have to check out Judi's shop - lots of great image sets to choose from. You will be seeing more of these images in other projects.

You've chosen such a bright, cheerful combination of spring colors. The way you've built up the flower layers really adds dimension. The gentle, subtle shading on the little kookaburra makes him the perfect accent, too.
I'd like to feature this flowerpot and your koala card on my blog's AL Eye Candy. Sending you a PM.

Wonderful! You've created a wonderful 'pot of flowers' - so cheerful. Love the little bird... We are impatiently awaiting spring here too - perhaps I should put together a flower pot too!
