This was a really fun challenge! Haven't had so much fun since I actually lost my marbles, lol. Good thing a few hung around so I could try this.
I did the tech as described by Lynn Here, using the reinkers listed below. Then I covered most of it up w/ my layers. You can still see some peeking thru the star punches and around the edges.
My image was inked first w/ the cobalt then I used the indigo to darken one side before stamping onto white c/s and cutting out.
The Hero was stamped in cardinal and positioned in the center of a tag punch. I stamped the little star and punched it w/ a small star punch, added the ribbon and attached them onto the image.
The navy and red bgs were punched w/ the large star circle and I used a little star embosser down the sides. I added a couple of postage stamps. (Yes, I save those, too. It's really sad that at some earlier date, I was even compelled to organize them in groups. Man, I need a program, lol).
Everything is attached to a white card. TFL

Julie, Another incredible design. Wow, you are really good at these cards. I wouldn't know where to start with it. I love that you save stamps and haven't totally lost your marbles yet!!! That was funny. I don't think they have a program for stampaholics or demonic ribbons; but, I'm sure one is in the works. I'm certainly not joining!!!! LOL! As always, I LOVE the way you photographed your card. I've been playing around with my shoots too. Thanks for all your tips. And, I'm so proud of you, as I see a RIBBON on your card and it doesn't look evil!!!! Great job Julie. Keep on posting! TFS!

This is a beautiful and very creative card. I think a lot of crafters are horders who keep items that might make it on a card, someday! I love how you picked a theme and went all out! I can love your card, even if I am Canadian - right?!
