This card was made for this week's Twisted Sistah weekly challenge: to make a coffee themed card with pink and brown, and to use brads, punch and some doodling.
I am a coffee lover so this one was right up my alley! Dawn had purchased the stamp on our last irl get together and it was so funny because I had it in my hand... carried it around and ended up putting it down because I had too much else! So she kindly surprised me with some images at Easter. So... with her permission, I used it today.
This was soooo fun to color. I used a combination of Prisma Pencils and copics on it... I still don't have all the right colors I need it seems! I used Diamond Glaze on the mugs and irl they do shine! I added some glitter gel doodling and also I doodled the stitching on the PJ top and gave the bottoms polka dots. This would be a run image to paper piece but not actually having the stamp... I had to improvise just a bit. I took the photo last night and afterward I added some ground beneath his feet and a little halo but I just didn't have time this morning to take another photo. Perhaps later but I have a big job ahead of me right now so no time!
The sentiment is what came to me the first time I saw this stamp! I mean.... two cups for me just goes without saying.... the real question is... how many more will it take? I suspect that if I had two more hands I'd have them full with two more mugs! So I just wrote that on my computer and used my punches to cut it and it's mat. I also used my new Nestie labels. Love them! Did some sponging on most layers..
Fun challenge today! Thanks Shirley and Dawn!!!

This turned out so awesome Grace. I love it. The sentiment is perfect. LOL. I never thought to paper piece it. It really looks terrific with its brown jammie bottoms. I just couldn't figure out if that was his legs or his pajamas. Super job. What is not to like about this.????

I never learned to like coffee so it is hard for me to image one needing more than two hands for it ......BUT, aside from all that, I love this card. How pretty it is and you addressed all the criterion for the TSC so well. Your creations are always so beautiful!

I agree with Tater, I'm not a fan of coffee. BUT if you made it Diet Coke, I could use about four hands!!!!!! heeeheeee! I love your sweet image and the pink/brown! Great card, my dear friend!

Grace, what a cute card. I almost did this monkey, as well. You have colored him so wonderfully and I like the stitching. I am likin' those new nestie labels. I will be waiting for him to knock on my door, with one of those cups of coffee for me.
