Somehow I missed out on the CCEE challenge last week. I had my girl stamp all ready, and certainly no shortage of scraps - so I was determined to play along this week. Cindy H shared this lovely sketch.
I used some double-sided Cosmo Cricket paper -Honey Pie Ella. I edged the base layer and the two patterned layers with Stickles. The image panel was stamped with Versamark Gold onto white card, and embossed with gold EP. Then I masked the butterfly and sponged the background. It was meant to be this weeks Sponged Sky tutorial, but it didn't really work. It's layered up on pink, with more Stickles in each oval. I added two Primas with a pink gem brad, and some punched leaves. They were already in my box of leaves, so I just sponged them with ColorBox Moss Green. The butterfly was coloured with H2Os - the centre bit is the Iridescent Blue, so when the light catches it at the right angle they look blue. I used some leaf ribbon across the top, after emptying out two ribbon boxes. Luckily my little flower punch was almost perfect for punching out some of the flowers from the DP, which saved me cutting them out by hand. I really enjoyed this sketch. I just wish I'd stamped the butterfly twice and popped up the wings...maybe tomorrow.

What a wonderfully feminine card Sabrina! I love it...the branches you added are the perfect embellishment! This card rocks! So happy you could join in the fun this week!
