Sorry for the bad picture. Nothing like leaving things till the last minute...The Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge last Tuesday was paper piercing, and I had my pierced base on the desk before I tidied it over the weekend. Then I got back from the dentist this afternoon and couldn't find it, so had to start from scratch, and now all the good light has gone. I'll upload a better picture tomorrow.
Anyway, I like finding my piercing templates where I can, so I've used paper that I've embossed with the Cuttlebug folders before now, and sometimes stamps. For this card I used the the large vine stamp from Birds in Vines, and stamped it. Then I pierced all along most of it. Turned it over and trimmed it down to size to fit on a 5/3/4" card base to which I had added a layer of pale lilac card. I stamped the bird on 3 times to get a good dark image, using the Stamp-ama-jig for exact placement. I punched a circle out of scrap card, distressed the edges of the negative circle and used that to sponge in a bit of moon. I punched out some little pink flowers and stuck then on, adding White Opal Liquid Pearls to the centres.
