(I had to spell out V-E-T so someone wouldn't hear!) Our vet is the best...he never ever laughs at us and our dog hypochondria. I've been wanting to make him and his great staff a thank you card, and when I got my Eat Cake Graphics stamps the other day, I finally made one with the SC223 layout.
Even though this stamp just has to be a corgi (those ears!), there was a tail on the stamp, so I just didn't ink it. Then I colored her with prismacolor pencils. I used cream as a base color, then goldenrod, sienna brown & burnt ochre. I didn't use any blending stumps so it looked like more like "fur" texture. I'm still not sure I got her color exactly right, do you think I should have added more brown? Or brown as a base coat with orange/cream over it? Help, prismacolor pros!
Not much else to the card...just some wonky stitching since I haven't done it in a while. Oh, and my tonic mini trimmer roughed up two edges of my DP-what's up with that?

Cute as can be...I never thought to send my vet a card...great idea. At first I thought this pup looked like a Papalion, but it does hold a striking resembelance to your dog. I love the DSP you chose to go with the image and your sewing is perfect. TSMFS

Not with this dp, because the colors you've used for your pup coordinate beautifully with it, as is. I had to LOL about you spelling out V-E-T, though. I know what you mean.
