Today's Way to Use it challenge was to incorporate a frame into the card.
I found a stash of heavier card stock frame mats in my supplies and distressed it with some Tea Dye by sponging all over in circular motion, bringing out the linen look.
Image was new Whiff of Joy's Melinda with Muffin Basket that was stamped in versafine and colored with prismas and gamsol. I added some Angel Wing Shimmers to the wings, flowers in her hair and candle flame. I also punched small circle and used some summer sun to create the candle glow around the flame.
I tied some eggplant grosgrain ribbon at opposite corners and added some purple stickles to simulate brads. Base is perfect plum with some unk purple/green dp that I also sponged the edges in Tea Dye ink. I was going to pop the frame up on dimensionals, but it's thick enough to give that illusion.
Hope you like it - I enjoy all comments.
Thanks for looking!
