This is my card for the Ways to Use it Challenge for today which was to use a frame or frame something. I decided I would try to "frame Spring" - you know, put it in a nice little box so it couldn't get away, because I think it's actually here today. But no matter how hard I tried to keep it in place, it just kept popping outside the box. No matter. I am enjoying it while it's here.
The poppy stamp is PSX, stamped on cardstock with Stazon Olive Green and colored with water color pencils. I stamped it twice, cut out the flowers and popped them up on top of the first copy. Black vintage buttons are the centers of the poppies. Some edges are inked with Ranger distressed Antique Linen and I added two Springy charms.

Funny, I think of poppies as summer, but I can understand your feeling of wanting to put Spring in a box so you don't lose it. Those little charms are so sweet, and the big poppies are gorgeous. DH used to say he wanted them in the garden, but by two years after I'd first planted the seeds, he was getting a bit tired of them being all over everywhere!
