I needed to make some birthday cards. I have some SCS friends who have birthdays coming up. I wished I had a cuttlebug to emboss the can, but I don't so I decided to see what the crimper would do. It made me think of a cupcake liner. I cut it into a cupcake base. I freehanded the cupcake top. My candle is two parts. The red part shows the red from the outside of my coke can. The flame of the candle was punched out using an EK success Christmas bulb punch. I used a yellow, orange and black sharpie marker to make the design on the flame. I also stamped HAPPY BIRTHDAY with black stazon and used my 1" and 1/16" circle punches.
Also used were 2 silver eyelets, dimensionals, corner rounder and pink satin ribbon.
What do you think?

You have been busy today! Like both of your cards but this one gets the edge just because of your creative use of the crimper. The candle looks like it has a real flame.

Oh Marilynn, how clever of you to use crimped metal for the cupcake foil. It looks awesome! Ooo and I just noticed that you are in southern Iowa! Where abouts? I'm in Omaha, NE. TFS
