In today's LSC, NancyRuth posted a card titled Stampinb 1st card. That led me to think she would be doing various versions of her cute card. WRONG! It was for a new blog/challenge that includes NancyRuth, Faith, Vicky, Lois & Joanne. Here's the link to their new blog: http://stampinbsdesignteam.blogspot.com/
Their issued challenge is to use a bee (and not the letter B) somewhere on your card.
I knew there was a wonderful bee stamp in the IFB set, so I got busy. I had all my stuff cut out when the grands arrived, so I had to wait until they left to assemble my card. I stamped w/ Summer Sun onto Barely Banana, Mellow Moss on MM, and Lovely Lilac on LL. The bee is also on SS. I used my glue pen on the wings & sprinkled on dazzling diamonds. I colored the black on the bee w/ SU marker and some blooms are on pop dots.
This will go to my very good friend who shares her birth date w/ me. I will probably go back & darken up the centers of the flowers. What do you think?
Thanks so much for looking.

How cool is this. I like all your popped-up flowers. I also share a birthday with a friend, and I'm always challenged to create an appropriate card. The sentiment on your card is perfect.
