I made this card for this weeks OCCC Challenge hosted by Silke to make an Easter Card and today's TLC215 challenge to make a flower pocket card. This was a lot of fun. There is minimal stamping involved in this card. I bought the Autumn Leaves- Pretty Poppies on Clearance at Michaels. It has beautiful pictures of flowers that are embossed and look almost like bouquets. I cut them out three times (certain flowers) and layered them to make them 3D. Since red pops with black. I made my pot with black that I textured with a Sizzix Argyle on the top and a Cuttlebug Floral on the rim. You can't really see it in the picture but in real life the rim sparkles with pearl glimmermist. The ribbon is a velvet ribbon I also got on clearance at a local scrapbooking store which went out of business for real cheap (My Little Shoe Box- Red Velvet). The only thing stamped on this card is the sentiment on the front using Our Daily Bread Design's- I Am the Way.
I spent a lot of time trying to put the inside of the card with this image but I could not get it to work so I have it uploaded it separately.

This card is just beautiful. Whoever you send this to is a lucky person.

Wow gorgeous! I agree, the colors are awesome. But I really love YOUR arrangement too. And the pot looks like a basket. So very beautiful. I look at this gallery to get inspiration for making cards for my family. I have to make about 30 of those a year.
Coincidently, I've done something similar and posted it yesterday . It's just a card I made for my sister in law's birthday not for a challenge or anything. Not quite at that level of skill yet. But I'm working on it.
I get such great inspiration here. Thanks for sharing.
