I just received delivery of my gorgeous Prismacolor pencils and couldn't wait to use them! I love to look at them in the box - maybe I'm a nut?! They are so beautiful to use and much easier than my Derwents for the Gamsol aka Magic Coloured pencil technique.
This card is for my nephew's 4th birthday - he loves dinosaurs!
Run piece of rust cs thru CB using Argyle ef and run Bark ink pad around edges. Attach rust cs to chocolate cs. Using WC paper, stamp Dinosaur and Roar with Bark pigment ink and emboss with clear ep. Colour dinosaur with Prismas and Gamsol, add Crystal Lacquer to dinosaur to make him shine. Run Bark ink pad around edges of finished image. Attach piece of dp to chocolate cs; tie ribbon around it and mount using 1mm mounts. Stamp sentiment with same ink pad and emboss with clear ep, and run ink pad around edges, then attach to chocolate cs. Mount on dp with 1mm mounts. Stamp "4" onto scrap of WC paper with Bark ink pad and emboss with clear ep, then cut out and mount using 1mm mounts. Attach dino pic with 2mm mounts. Lastly add brads - I love these brads and they look so nice with the Argyle embossing. They are by American Traditional Designs CA-0012.
Hope you like my card and your comments always brighten my day!
