Thanks for your nice comments. I scored the background first every 1/2", then lightly stamped the canvas background (being careful not to press too hard to get the color into the score lines, sponged the edges, then put the colors on the flowers with markers, then stamped the grass over the top of it all. The trick is to not use too heavy of a hand to keep the score lines crisp. I'll be doing again, that's for sure! I love the looks of it.

WOW this is gorgeous! I'd never seen that technique before, so thanks for sharing the details! I LOVE your stamping space too, especially that stained glass window! lucky you!!!
