Measurements including borders: Designer paper– 5 1/8 x 3 1/8”, turned square 3”, top panel – 1 ½ x 3 ¼”, sentiment - 1 1/8 x 2 ¼”
-Prismacolor pencils were used to color the images.
-Because the Cuttlebug embossing folder is shorter than the card base, I embossed to the middle then repeated on the other side of the card and then went to the bottom of the card base and did the same procedure. The card was shut around the folder to run through the base.
-The fire is stamped on the panel and I used the out of the box technique. This works great if you have a guillotine style cutter by marking the image on the back while holding to a light source. Cut to the image on the front, flip it over and cut to the mark on the back. I just cut the flames out but if I ever have to cut between the image lines I use a Coluzzle template with their craft knife.
-The bear and marshmallow on a stick are cut out. The stick needed to be longer so I cut it in half and glued it in place. The bear was popped up on a layer of cardstock and the marshmallow got three extra layers since it went off the panel. These shapes were just cut close to the images without stamping the image for a cutting guide.
-Ink distressing was done on all but the base layer and sponging on the sign.
-The envelope was fun, after stamping and coloring the tent I added a BIG foot trail starting at the tent and ending at the tent on the back side. I have no plans for this card other to add it to one of the charity boxes but I hope some little person gets a kick out the footprints. The tent is also stamped on the insert at the right.
Now that is one creative and outstanding use of the sketch--really like how you worked in that cute scene with the great paper and images--goes together perfectly--the envelope is a hoot!
