This is for today's Limited Supply Challenge: use Soft Subtles colours and use a flower as your main image.
Well... Soft Subtles are normally something I use in combination with other, bolder (more me!) colours. It's a bit of a stretch to use them for the whole card! But thanks to my Tea Party DSP and my new Playful Petals stamps I think I like the result!
I LOVE this stamp set - probably because two of my favourite things to do are to cut and colour... and this set is perfect for both. I stamped the images in Basic Grey and coloured using a combination of blender pens and reinkers plus SU markers. There are four seperate layers in the flower.
I used my new nestabilities labels 2 dies to cut the layers behind the flower. The ribbon is So Saffron striped grograin. Sentiment was selectively inked with markers and punched with large oval punch. The scallop is the new scallop oval punch from the mini catty. Added some brads to balance.
TFL!
