This was initally a Hello Kitty swap (a member's daughter is hosting), but it was later changed to a more wide spectrum, Cats, Dogs and Bunnies I think it was. I thought it would be fun to stick with the theme. Problem was... inspiration was hard to come by for this 40 year old mother of a teenage son.
I had really gotten into the hearts by this time and ideas had been rolling out as fast as I could work my hands. And i wanted anoher paper, not the Hello Kitty paper and not the floral paper and that's when i realized I had a wonderful pinky/yellowey scrap of heart paper. And yes, it was perfect! So tha is where my large Hello Kitty in a heart was going to live. After creating my base I used a beautiful baby girl pink satin ribbon as a shelf for my Hello Kitty to lean upon. With yellow (someof the background paper has yellow) I hand cut a piece of yellow paper (maybe dull-banana colored) heart to help my Hello Kitty pop. She is adhered flat to the ribbon but the top of the heart is raised from the card using Stampin' Up dimensionals.
