I was fascinated by the Gesso resist. I've done other types of resist technique but the idea of using found or recycled paper was a lot of fun. For this one I guess I was inspired by the traveling musical production that is in town. To my best guess, (and its only a guess) "cruelle" is the French term for Wicked.
I had so much fun with the Gesso on the magazine page, that I decided to cover some chipboard pieces too. A little stippling with the sponge applicator before one of my "buckles" dried made it ready for some Perfect Medium and Perfect Pearls. I think I'll be having lots of fun with the stuff! I prefer using stipple and petite stencil brushes for shading.
Rubber is unmounted, sorry no credit.
