Any one of my friends will tell you that I'm a one-card-a-day person - because that's pretty much how long it takes me to decide on layout, color, etc! So this latest Limited Supplies Challenge: to make a card in 30 mins or LESS?!? I nearly had heart palpitations!!! Being allowed some time to make those decisions in advance probably saved my life!
So... I started the clock. The River Rock cardstock had already been cut and scored from a previously planned card, and there were plenty of scrap pieces of it, along with some black and vanilla:
* 7 minutes to cut and stack.
* 6 minutes to stamp half the image on each piece of very vanilla, a bit tricky, since it's really just one stamp. Thank God for the stamp-a-ma-jig!
* 4 minutes to color with watercolor pencils and blend with blending pen
* 4 minutes to sponge edges of very vanilla and DSP
* 2 minutes to wrap green metallic cord around large rectangle
Then, just before adhering everything to the base, I decided it needed some eyelets... a simple job with the crop-a-dile...
***Do I have to count how long it took me to pick them all up off the floor when I knocked over the entire container?!?!
Because if so... I DEFINITELY lost this challenge!
**If not... I finished in 27 minutes!!!!

Funny story...an eyelet catastrophe. The eyelets really look good and the card is very pretty!
