Here's one ATC to be going on with for today's challenge. I like them, they're the one time I'm happy trying out all sorts of odd things, and if it doesn't work, it's no great loss. It's about the only time I can comfortably do shabby, too. Also, it's a great way of using up oddments - you should see my desk!
The base paper was part of a Kodomo stamp stamped onto DCWV Asian Stack a while back, and never used. I cut it down to ATC size, and added colour to the reeds and foreground with markers.
In the spirit of ATCs being for swapping, anyone who actually wants this one, I'll happily stick it in the post.
Then I embossed part of it with the Bird Call ef, and sponged the grass from that with Encore Copper, and the bird with silver. I added some buttonhole stitching to fill in the bottom right corner, with some purple/dark green fibre, and added a little swallow from French Flair that was in one of my scrap boxes.
