Last week, a dear friend of mine from a dry embossing group I belong to confided in me that she was mourning the loss of a pet bird she had had. I decided to send her a card that featured birds, but since I don't have many non-comical bird stamps, I needed to get a little creative.
I remembered that as part of a grab-bag at my local scrapbooking store, I had received some clear acetate bird images. At first I didn't know what to do with them, but I quickly put them all together, and came up with this card. It's not my normal style, but I thought that for this occasion it was appropriate.
