I've never tried this technique before, thanks Lynn.
Mind you, I always find my crimper only really works with thin paper, it took several feeds through to get a good crimp.
I've been trying to use up scraps that are on the table, so the deer was my starting point. I stamped a little forest for him on a kraft envelope using Versamark and chalks, and added a rabbit from the same set as the deer. Under the top are also 3 blue birds from the October Afternoon set. For the top I stamped a Rubbadubbadoo sentiment, punched it out and threaded some grosgrain ribbon through. The inside is a Unity stamp, stamped with Brown StazOn. I added some green distress Stickles to the mustard stalks, chalked the mountain and the background, sponged the edges and stapled on some ribbon. This is to send to a friend in church.
