This is the card I made for today's Technique Challenge - to make a Crimped Envelope Pocket Card using the instructions here: Crimped Envelope Pocket Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I started with an A2 white envelope and sponged it with Vintage Photo and Tattered Rose DI. I crimped the bottom then did a little direct-to-paper inking with my Close to Cocoa inkpad. I stamped the sunflower four times, colored them with Copic markers then sponged them with Tattered Rose. Cut out all four flowers and layered them with Pop-Dots then popped them up onto the envelope. Sponged some pink and cocoa grosgrain ribbon with Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo, respectively. Finally added some Antique Brass brads to the topper. For my insert, I made a mask with a Labels One Nestie and sponged around it with Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo and Close to Cocoa. Stamped my sentiment in the center, layered it on Pink Pirouette and Close to Cocoa and added brads to the corners to finish it.
Thanks, Lynn (and Theresa) for the fun technique to try and TFL!

This is terrific. I love the colors. I have those DI and have not tried them out yet. This gives me a little push because I really like the way they look. Super job Carla. We got 5 in and it is cold cold snow. Cole and I shoveled all morning. Just got my car out of the driveway.. Ugh...
