Congrats, Kelly! What a great gallery you have. I chose Split Essence to case. I kept the split negative tech and the floral theme, but I changed the colors, the images, split mine on the diagonal instead of straight up and down, traded the ribbon for a sentiment.
I started by taking two identical size pieces of c/s; one white and one cobalt. I stacked them and cut them on the diagonal, corner to corner, at the same time so they'd have identical cuts. Then I paired a white top w/ a cobalt bottom and put a piece of tape on the back to temporarily hold them together. I stamped my images w/ the white pigment ink (I had to mask some and do this in stages.). I took the halves apart and put white ep on the cobalt half and cobalt ep on the white half and heat embossed them. I went around the edges w/ an embossing marker and did the same color embossing on the edges. Then I put the halves back together permanently.
I stamped and embossed some extra flowers on the same color c/s. This time I stamped flowers on the white c/s using the indigo ink and cobalt ep and white ink & ep on the cobalt c/s. I cut these out and attached the flowers to the opposite color of bg (white on cobalt, cobalt on white). I stamped & embossed the sentiment.
I used the cobalt marker on the edges of the two leftover halves and attached them to my white card front. Then I attached the main panel on top w/ foam tape.

WOW - this is so detailed and fantastic. Love the cobalt blue color and the split negative, it's cool to see this done with something other than black - it really works well. NICE!
