This is a gorgeous stamp from Inkadinkado and when I purchased it sometime ago, was thinking "Pink Rose". However, I've seen 'green' roses in catalogues so I attempted to duplicate that effect with my markers. The green is actually a Copic called Mimosa Yellow and the other prominent shade is Copic Buttercup Yellow. On the leaves, I mostly used Prismacolor markers in Tea Green, Avocado, Dark Avocado and Celadon. The ribbon is Prismacolor 'true green'. The little posies were colored in Copic Floral White and the centers were darkened with Pale Cherry Pink. Poises have Icicle Stickles dabbed in the centers and although the photo doesn't do it justice, the entire rose, rose buds, leaves and ribbon are heavily coated with clear Spica. I used chalk around the edges of the top panel to give it some definition against the other irridescent panel. The dark green cardbase is embossed with Cuttlebug as is the lime solid cardstock. The sheetmusic background is a CHF Scrapblock that I stamped on cream cardstock with Versafine Spanish Moss and then cutout with Nestability. The sparkle cardstock and the image were also cut with a nestability. In the corners are the shiny gold metallic (new) Dewdrops that I purchased from Ellen Hutson. Ribbon is a dollar find at Michaels. The thin gold ribbon was twirled around the handle of my paintbrush - it's wired so it holds the loop-de-loop. This card is going to be hand delivered so I wasn't too worried about how to package it with the bow!! The sentiment is from those addictive $1 stamps at JoAnns.
Thanks for looking!
