For this week's inspriation challenge. I liked the idea of the cut out dresses showing patterned paper behind it as in this card (http://www.roomservicehome.com/prodi...mber=gy134102). The only large die cut I own though is a tree so I made a more masculine version. I cut out the tree from the card front to create the opening then cut out another tree in the plaid and adhered it exactly behind the cut out. I think the original stationary used a full sheet of patterned paper inside, but I don't know where I would write my greeting if I did that. I used my dec edge scissors to create the bottom. It seemed so plain so I stamped the front with the background twill, but it's still dull. Maybe I will added a sentiment or some twine later.
