This is for the colour challenge from last week as well as the TLC challenge from a couple of weeks ago. The colours were kiwi kiss, summer sun and pumpkin pie. the TLC challenge was to cut out an element for the card.
I stamped and masked and stamped some more tulips and then coloured them with the ink pads and a watercolour brush. Then I cut out the top edge of the flowers.
I CB'd my summer sun panel at the very back and mounted it on vanilla and then old olive (no kiwi kiss paper). I repeated the layers for the word panel also. On both yellow panels I stamped the tulips in pumpkin pie as well.
The ribbon is from Michaels and I made tabs and put tem behind the word panel and then across the tulips. I finished with dots along the edges.
The inspiration for this card was varied. I'm ready for spring and spring time in the Ottawa area means the tulip festival and I coloured these tulips the colour of parrot tulips. I also found tulips in the ditch on the way to work one day - those were red but red was not in the colour combo so I may make a card with red tulips one day but the angled aspect to the flowers came from the look of the ones I saw growing in the ditch. As well as this card which is absolutely gorgeous: mary, mary, quite contrary... (2) by kaloso05 at Splitcoaststampers

Beautifully done, Lori. I couldn't get inspired by this combo but loved looking at what came into other's minds. Your ribbon detail on this is fabulous.
