I needed to make a special keepsake birthday card for my niece whom I've not met yet, and she is turning 2 next week. I was torn between the lion, panda and toucan in this stamp set and couldn't decided... and then I read the LSC challenge and I then decided to just use all the animals to create a background!
For the challenge, we needed to only use one stamp set including the sentiment, only use ribbons and brads for embellishments, STAMP the "paper" and not use and patterned paper, and keep the punches/dies to only the sentiment panel. WHew!
I stamped all animals on watercolor paper and watercolored.

Amazing! I love it! I sure hope your neice does too! Wonderful creation to this challenge! It's absolutely adorable! I am still trying to figure out how you made it look seamless! Very neat card!

Laurie, WOWZA! Phenomenal watercoloring on this! This looks like store-bought designer paper! (Only better! LOL) What a super card, and I hope that your niece's mother frames it on her bedroom wall...sheer artistry here!
