Using such a bright color combo is totally out of my element. I made this for Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply challenge this week. The challenge is to make something that shows signs of Spring. You can read about it here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
I thought I'd use my new New Leaf cs from Papertrey. It's a brighter green that I expected, so it definitely says Spring. I paired it with a strip of patterned paper from the Raspberry Fizz mix collection. I sewed one of my New Leaf buttons onto the center of the flower. It's actually a nice green although you can't tell from the photo.
I stamped the sentiment between two lines I made with the Scor-Pal, then added some piercing. The flowers were stamped with Versamark Dazzle for some shimmer. I used my Clear Star gelly roll pen to add sparkle to the flower centers.
