I can't wait for warm weather to get here! My mermaid makes me think of the beach and the sound of seagulls. I used my scalloped nesties for the hair and filled in the back with a scalloped oval. Her upper body was a template that I got way back that was used for a bridal card. You can find it at www.inksomething.blogspot.com. Look under her archives for August 1, 2007. The link for the template should be there. Her lower body is from the largest heart shaped nestie that I cut in half and formed her tail. You can see that it is in 3 pieces. From her knees down, it's something I just hand cut to make it work. The fins are a circle nestie that I used a small oval punch and then cut it to make it look like fins.
I did make this pyramid card larger since I went larger on my mermaid. The 3 squares that form the pyramid are 5 inches square. The directions for the pyramid can be found at stampowl.blogspot.com. Look under her achives Feb 17, 2008
