For today's Demo Card Challenge - make a card inspired by the spirit of St Patrick's Day by using food as a focal point. I read on the internet that the celebration is meant to be a feast.
So, not only does the focal point need to be food, I also specified that there needed to be some green on the card, but that it is not to be monochromatic and there's to be no sentiment.
This card came together really easily. I sometimes find that lots of layers help really make a focal image "pop". I also embossed my pear, coloured it, cut it out and popped it up on dimensionals. I stamped the pear image on the layer directly underneath it and sponged that layer to also add some depth. And I dragged out my neglected Crimper to crimp one of my layers to give a textured background.
Would love to know what you think.

Great card, Cav. I can't believe you did such an awesome job with this card the Monday after VSN!
You rock.
Also, I love that stamp set, but we don't have it anymore here in the States.
Beautiful card, and I love the layers.
