Our neighbors lost their dog last week, Big Bernie. He was kind of the neighborhood mascot, just wandering around, sweet and gentle. He always attended neighborhood parties, just watching as he sat under the nearest tree. We will miss the Big B. This is a sympathy card for his family.
It's an favorite Roxie sketch for the layout. I used retired Au Chocolate (how appropriate!) DP for the triangles. The main image is colored with wc pencils and blender pen, mounted on Cocoa, Chocolate and Black. A knot of black ribbon completes it.
This is my 300th post to my gallery! Thanks for looking and commenting.

Oh, how sweet. It's a beautiful card. Love the sketching/blending & the ribbon accent in the corner is a really nice touch ... I'll have to remember that one. Great job! -Shirley

Sorry to hear about Bernie. When I was little, a neighbor, 2 blocks away, had a dog named Ginger (golden retriever) that was the same as Bernie. Ginger wandered around and said hi to everyone. No one minded. She was the sweetest dog and everyone in the subdivision loved her. Thank you for bringing back that memory for me!
Very sweet and beautiful card.
