Yay, I have finished a UFO (unfinished object) that must be one of the first cards I made...and now I have to think 'what was I thinking?!?!' But I am happy to say I am liking the finished result!!
I love the green in this, which is in the DP as well, but the layers on top cover it a bit...the DP is from a magazine and I just loved it...so used it when I didn't have all the 'supplies' that I have now. I also added the fabulous textured paper from a RAK from one of my first SCS friends, Suleika (aka Roxystamper) and then coloured the image with chalks on watercolour paper....added some bling and a saying and....wha-la....one card that is no longer a UFO.
I also added just a touch of Kindy Glitz along the waves, in the light it actually gives the impression of movement, I wouldn't normally add glitter to this type of image..just worked with this (in my opinion!)
So here you have it...another card for the LSC challenge....you might have to look for the green, but it is there!! Thanks for looking and for your encouraging comments - I am looking forward to hearing what you think!

Cute! I love the image and the dp and also the scalloped punched edge. Love the looks of the little tab too. I'm not usually a fan of rick rac, but you have made it fit in beautifully with the dp and it finishes the bottom edge off perfectly!

Linda~ this is beautiful! The green reminded me of new life, and that is encouraging. The movement is wonderful, and I love scallops and rick rack! Your coloring on this is great! It is one of my favorite images. Glad this UFO is done, great job!
