Building a "scene" is a good way to try out a lot of techniques and products - and definitely a little time consuming!
For the water background, I used watercolors and my aquapen and perfect pearl mist made with mixing water, perfect pearls and dye re-inker in a mini mister.
For my pretty little Anya mermaid, I coloured her in with Copics and shimmered her everywhere I could with Sakura Glitter Gel pens and glossy accents. I added green and blue microbeads to her tail for a "scale-y" kind of look! For the sea bed, I used distress embossing powder for the sand and flower soft for seaweed/algae.
Thanks for visiting!
