This is my card for the FS this week, I love the work of JulieMLacey, it is so crisp and clean lined, something I very rarely do...as you can tell by my card. I have chosen this card to case:
What I changed:
- I used birdhouses (from flowergirl36 in an early birthday RAK)
- change the DP
- Fiskars scalloped border (thanks for the loan Melinda80!)
- extra brads
- Double stitched ribbon (RAK from misshelenstamps)
- Added inked torn corner - couldn't resist!
- CB EF on top half of card (RAK from flowergal36)
I hope I have dine Julie justice, her gallery is so lovely and I am sure I will be casing another card...have my eye on one already
This card is madewith the help of some friends and their generosity to me in RAK's - thank you so-o much!!
And THANK YOU for looking, and your comments....I value each one!

Oh Linda, Dawn's image is adorable and your coloring is perfection itself. Love the papers and colors, and this just happens to be so Juliesque! Perfectly cased!

Very pretty sister. I love the soft sponging, sweet brads, and of course- 'the' corners!

Great card...not sure I understand how to get the stamp thou - I love it - where is it sold? It reminds me of a French expression:
"petit petit, loiseau fait son nid"
which means 'little by little the bird builds his nest'....which would be great for a card to a young person that just got their first house/apt, for a new neighbor, or for someone just starting out in something new to suggest the beauty of gentle progress (wow a whole street of bird houses - smiles)....Thanks for the inspiration....
