This is the card I made for Monday's CAS challenge:Forums at Splitcoaststampers. I cut a circle from CS the size of my card and sponged in with blue for the sky. I did that because I chose to keep my flower white like a daisy and I wanted it to stand out not blend into the white background. Next I used a two step leaves stamp first with yellow, again with green then with the outline leaves I used black. I decided to used clear button because I wanted to see under it. So I traced the button onto the flower and only colored in there with markers. I cut out my flower, cutting the petals to the center so they would pull forward for dimension. I sewed on the button with white. Then my Bloom sentiment turned out crooked so I stamped it again on another CS and cut it out. I scored a border. Pretty simple. Probably used put a little more time into it for a CAS card, but this is still new to me. I am working on it. It is hard to do quick and simple and have it turn out so purposeful like the examples. Ooooh! This is AWESOME! I love it! Love the highlighting, the colors, and that you used a fresh white base to showcase it!
