This was SUPPOSED TO BE my first ever attempt at a single layer card. I used my Scor-Pal to do some decorative lines on the front and then I stamped the sentiment. I messed up the sentiment and got stray ink on the card (because I was too impatient to mount the sentiment stamp and just used the rubber - - silly!). Anyway...I didn't want to scrap the whole thing, so I decided to hide the ink! I ran some Night of Navy and Brocade Blue squares through the Cuttelbug using one of the embossing folders.

Great save, and it turned out super, too. This makes a really nice guy card, but could be switched up and turned into something more girly with a change of colors.

Was looking for some inspiration for a guy card and found your card - so quick, simple and yet very classy - thanks for the help. BTW I used very vanilla, and some navy and caramel corrugated card with navy ink.
