I made this card for today's TLC, to cut out embossed or patterned paper and use it. I should have stuck to paper, I know I can carry that off, but I thought using something embossed would be more of a challenge.
Or else I ought not to have tried shabby, because I know I can't carry that off either.
It's also pretty much a card for today's CCEE challenge, using white, kraft and pink - see their blog here: http://cceestampers.blogspot.com/200...aft-white.html . I did use a green card base, but everything else is there so I hope it counts...
Anyway, a green base, as I said.
The next layer is kraft, stamped with Print Pattern in Versamark, and a Hero Arts French script stamp with distress ink which has gone so faint I might as well not mention it.
The TLC bit is Diamonds in the Rough and pink card, sponged with pink ink and cut out. I also slightly embossed the centre of each diamond with my embossing tool. Some green leaf ribbon, a Prima, a big brad stamped with the script stamp, some lace and some WRMK copper hardware came next. Then a little wooden ladybird and a quick Just Because stamped with pink onto kraft and punched out with the Word Window punch and a white brad added. The trellis and sentiment are both up on dimensionals.

Wow! I like how you've created an open pattern out of the EF. Very clever.

I love those cut leaves and the diamond in the rough cb! The ladybug is such a nice addition to the whole! You didn't happen to do the crocheting yourself, did you GF??????

Wow, Sabrina! I think the diamond in the rough embossing folder looks really cool cut out and popped up with your pretty flower! The crocheting behind the flower is a nice touch, too. I'm so glad you got to play with our color challenge today, too! Woot!
