I sat down to make Valentine's Day cards yesterday. Well, I decided to check out 1)fav of the week thread, then 2)Featured Stamper Challenge- like I do every Sunday- when I can............ Well, I saw this card: TLC205 Paper Pleats by k dunbrook at Splitcoaststampers
And I thought- that would make a great Valentine.....so, I set about changing 3 things-
DP I used
No ribbon- I added flourished chipboard
No scallop or sentiment- I added a strip of 'faux felt' and 2 embroidered hearts (pink). I do like the pleated paper and I also added Faux felt under the heart- the brown piece.
The main heart is cut out of the DP I chose to use.....I left the leaf on the Rt side connected for an 'out of the box' look.
This took me all afternoon, but have a sister who is a bird lover- or my Mom- hmmmm I need a few more cards this week.......
Thanks for looking
